Welcome to BARKOBAMA,
the home of Dogs For Obama
Chauncy, Chairdog
(This site is not affiliated, funded, approved or anything else by the Barak Obama for President campaign or anyone assosicated with them. They probably don't even know we are here, but we'll give them a big doggie kiss if they come by.)

Hello, I'm Chauncy. I am a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and I live with my humans, Kathleen and Mark (they are the ones who love me and give me treats!) along with my sister, Phoebe. That's me over on the right. I'm the one with the white around my nose. Phoebe is next to me. She's out in the snow...that is now all gone.

I have a nephew and niece, Winston and Millie. Winston is a Yorkshire Terrier and Millie is a Chihuahua. We also have a cousin, Biscuit, the Papillon.

I started this site because I like Barak Obama. My sister thinks Hillary is the better candidate, so I chase her around a little more than normal outside.

You can send mail to me: chauncy@barkobama.net

Pictures of doggies supporting Barak Obama are always welcome at our email address.

Well, I have pictures. I looked around on the internet last night while my humans were asleep. Millie filled me in on the details. She came over for some "chase the chihuahua" time yesterday. Her human, Arlise, is my human Kathleen's mom. That's how I know her.

Anyway, Millie told me that things were very exiting at Oakleaf Village. There were lots of cars and big, scary dogs walking around sniffing things. (Remember, Millie is a VERY small dog, and just about any other dog is big to her!)

Millie wasn't allowed at the program, but Arlise told her all about it. There were lots of men and women with cameras and microphones. There were a bunch of old guys standing around not doing much. Arlise called them "politicians".

Barak and Mrs. Barak came in the room and talked for awhile. I had my human turn on CNN, so I got to see some of it. Barak told the people that old people need to be sure they have enough money to live on (and to have enough money to take care of their doggies!!). He wants to make people who make lots of money pay a little bit more.  Sounds OK to me.

Barak Obama
This is Barak Obama. It was very hot in the room, but he always looks cool!

See the lady next to left of Barak...sitting in the chair. That is Millie's human, Arlise. She is paying close attention to what Barak says.
This is Mrs. Barak...I think her name is Michelle. Arlise is there still paying VERY close attention. Arlise told Millie that Barak and Michelle were very nice people.
This is one of those politician guys I told you were standing around. He said some things, but I couldn't understand what Millie was saying when she told me about him. She said his name was Strickland, and he is governor of something. I don't know if he is the governor of doggies or not.
June 13...what an exciting day for Millie and Arlise. Someday, I hope I get to see Barak Obama.

Remember...BARK FOR OBAMA!

A very nice lady named Tracie Hoffman sent me an email about her very very nice doggie shirts. This one says, "BARK OBAMA '08" and it has a picture of a yummy doggie bone.

You can order one of these from her website

Posh Puppy Couture

I'm sure she would love to hear from you.

Oh, I have such exciting news. Arlise, who is little Millie's human, is actually going to meet Barak Obama!!! He is going to visit the retirement apartments where she lives and meet with some of the residents. She is going to see him at about 11:30, so it should be very exciting.  I'm going to have my humans, Mark and Kathleen, turn on all the televisions so I can see what is going on. I'll try to get a picture or two.

More later, and remember,

Bark for Obama!!!

A doggie HELLO to everyone coming by from POLITICO.COM.  Someone mentioned us in a blog over there, and I've been watching to see where everyone is coming from!  A special Chauncy "WOOF" to the folks from the US Department of State and the Federal Bureau of Prisons!

Barkobama.com comes to you from that tropical paradise, Upper Arlington, Ohio.
